   After military service, John moved back home to Texas. During this time John made rapid strides on the very popular Texas Country music scene. His two released albums garnered two Top 40 and two Top 20 singles on the Texas Country Music charts, sharing notoriety with the likes of now national artists such as Aaron Watson and Cody Johnson. John also was the recipient of Texas Country music awards in the songwriter and artist of the year categories. After the effects of the pandemic stopping everyone to a stand still, John decided to reinvent his brand and return to his love of Bass guitar...and drums.  

   Now, John is having the time of his life as Bassist for Casey Chesnutt Band touring all over the U.S., and freelance drummer. Chesnutt you say? Yes, that Chesnutt. Casey is Country Music superstar Mark Chesnutt's son. With John's help, Casey's first single "Even Texas Couldn't Hold Her" has reached the Top 10 on the Texas Country Music charts. Casey's fan base grows everyday and show dates are growing past 100 per year. Casey and the band is now signed with Tony Conway (A-list Nashville Manager) and Kinkead Booking Agency for bookings. In addition to contributing to songwriting, John also straps on the guitar and accompanies Casey on acoustic shows, providing vocals and guitar accompaniment, while also serving as sound engineer.
